Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and champion the detailed design of solution architectures for the Modern Workplace, aligning with our digital transformation roadmap.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders across project lifecycles to drive the planning, design, and implementation of our solutions.
• Provide technical subject-matter expertise on one or more Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) areas.
• Translate business requirements into a comprehensive strategy for systems solutions, adopting a cloud-first approach and prioritizing security.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and the ability to drive for results.
• Leverage data and telemetry to make informed decisions and drive feedback into system design and implementation.
• Foster collaborative partnerships with other teams to improve products and processes.
• Utilize advanced technical expertise to coordinate multiple work streams and resolve complex issues.
• Serve as the face of the UEM Product, presenting to BMW leadership and building relationships with key stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with other products and engineering groups across BMW.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team environment and mentor early-career individuals.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 15+ years of experience in the IT industry
• 5+ years of experience in a Senior/Expert Architect environment
• Experience with architecture methodologies such as TOGAF, ITIL, and COBIT

Technical Skills:

• Deep knowledge of endpoint management tools like Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), VMware Workspace ONE, or similar platforms
• Understanding of endpoint security principles, including antivirus, anti-malware, firewalls, encryption, and security policies
• Proficiency with various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile OSes (iOS, Android)
• Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs) as they pertain to endpoint connectivity and security
• Knowledge of cloud architecture across OS, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, and elastic scalability
• Skills in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) for automation of tasks and configuration management
