2608_VDI Published Applications (HSA) Lifecycle Specialist (Senior)
Location: Gauteng
Contract Term: 1 June 2024 - 31 December 2026
Applications Submissions:xc2xb7 Software package, installation & conversion tools, e.g. MSI,
xc2xb7 Experience in Analysis of Application Business needs and Requirements
xc2xb7 Experience in Analysis of application performance and worked with Software installation Capture tools
xc2xb7 Experience in optimisation of functional areas, e.g. Server and Desktop Deployments, User experience and Published Applications
xc2xb7 Experience in Documentation of Published Application deployments
xc2xb7 Experience in Application Modernization and Application lifecycle management (ALM)
xc2xb7 Experience in legacy (e.g. .vbs) and modern(e.g. MSIX, psadt) installation method
xc2xb7 General client & server OS (Windows, Red Hat, Linux, etc.) experience
xc2xb7 Experience in operation of Windows Servers and Windows multisession Desktop
xc2xb7 Experience in Windows Client (Windows 10 & 11) OS troubleshooting
xc2xb7 Experience with Active Directory and GPO
xc2xb7 Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD)
xc2xb7 Experience with Scripting (PowerShell, Python,etc..)
xc2xb7 Experience in troubleshooting infrastructure, network and integration issues
xc2xb7 Experience with VMWare Workspace One Access
xc2xb7 Experience with ITL processes (Incident, Change and Problem management)
o Plan and execute maintenance tasks (change management)
o Plan and execute infrastructure lifecycle tasks (technical lifecycle, change management)
o Resolve incident tickets
xc2xb7 Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
xc2xb7 Experience Citrix Netscaler (higher than 12.x) and Storefront
xc2xb7 Experience Citrix on VMware Hypervisor Stack (higher VMWare ESXi 6.x)
xc2xb7 Experience with cloud technologies and cloud providers (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services)
xc2xb7 Experience in operation, maintenance of VDI technologies (Microsoft and VMware Horizon)
xc2xb7 Experience Citrix XenServer (higher than 7.x)
xc2xb7 Experience in working with hyperconverged systems
xc2xb7 Experience with Scripting (PowerShell, Python etc.)
xc2xb7 Experience with monitoring systems
xc2xb7 Experience in optimization of functional areas, e.g., Server Deployments, User experience and Published Applications
xc2xb7 Automated problem remediation
xc2xb7 VMware Published Applications stack
xc2xb7 Understand Rest API technology
