2727_Instructional Content Designer
Location: Gauteng
Contract Term: 1 June 2024 - 31 December 2026ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
xc2xb7 Design storyboard learning activities with high impact training materials, and assessments aligned with learning objectives.
xc2xb7 Create engaging and interactive learning content using various tools and technologies.
xc2xb7 Develop e-learning modules, instructor-led presentations, job aids, and micro-learning materials.
xc2xb7 Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations)
xc2xb7 Prepare content files in SCORM format, for packaging and ingestion into platform.
xc2xb7 Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
xc2xb7 Being able to design and develop in
o Adobe Photoshop
o Adobe Illustrator
o Articulate
o Microsoft PowerPoint
o Microsoft Teams
o Camtasia (Video recording software)
o Basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptADVANTAGEOUS TECHNICAL SKILLS:
xc2xb7 Being able to access channels to stay abreast and integrate trends and best practices in learning technologies with instructional design (ie: Micro-learning and Mobile learning)
xc2xb7 Utilize and design in authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Captivate) to produce online courses.
xc2xb7 Integrating AI, VR and AR capabilities into a blended learning approach
xc2xb7 Managing multiple stakeholders and being able to plan and prioritise.
xc2xb7 Agile development methodologies
xc2xb7 Working with formal project management tools such as Jira and Confluence
ESSENTIAL SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:
xc2xb7 Sound knowledge in e-learning Design and familiar with user centred design approach
xc2xb7 Fit-for-business-purpose mind-set i.e., the solutions provided must meet the business goals.
xc2xb7 Excellent communication skills and team-oriented work behaviour in a distributed team
xc2xb7 Strong ability to understand and interpret business needs and requirements with the ability to move concepts through to proposal and finally successful implementation.
xc2xb7 Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and written) with both technical and non-technical colleagues / users.
xc2xb7 Proficient in conducting user research in foreign markets i.e., language barriers may exist
