Internal AuditorFinbond Mutual Bank in PretoriaExpiry Date: 2024-11-15Purpose of the role:
To perform internal audits from start to finish, including:
xc2xb7 Planning for audits as per the approved internal audit plan
xc2xb7 Conducting fieldwork
xc2xb7 Documenting audit results in accordance with the methodology and relevant standards
xc2xb7 Drafting findings and confirming these with management
xc2xb7 Drafting and discussing internal audit reports
xc2xb7 Liaising with management during the audit process
xc2xb7 Conduct special investigations and fraud investigations as and when required by management.
xc2xb7 To report to the Internal Audit SupervisorQualifications:
xc2xb7 3-year qualification in Internal Auditing/ Financial Accounting/Management Accounting
xc2xb7 Internal Audit Technician Training (Preferable)Experience:
Minimum 3 years internal audit experience, preferably in the Financial Services IndustryKnowledge and Skills:
xc2xb7 Computer literacy - minimum requirement MS Office
xc2xb7 In depth knowledge of the audit process
xc2xb7 Ability to document process descriptions
xc2xb7 Ability to identify and document risks and controls
xc2xb7 Ability to compile an audit program to address the risks and controls identified
xc2xb7 Ability to identify audit issues and corresponding root causes and to propose feasible recommendations
xc2xb7 Ability to present audit results in a well-written report
xc2xb7 Be able to liaise with management regarding audit findings
xc2xb7 Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
