2nd Line Support Technician

Job Description

Customer Support :

Act as the primary interface for client technical problems, resolve tickets, and provide on-site or remote support.



Technical Expertise :

Work with VoIP systems, network devices, servers, Active Directory, and advanced configurations like VPNs and failovers.



Maintenance & Configuration :

Install, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems, including wireless devices, firewalls, and DNS servers.



Mentorship & Oversight :

Guide junior technicians, ensure standards are met, and assist in developing department policies.



Preventative Maintenance :

Conduct routine checks on client systems, resolve vendor issues, and perform system optimizations.



Experience :



At least 5 years of prior IT support experience.



Hands-on expertise with VoIP, network setups, and server management.



Certifications :



CCNA, MTCNA, or MCSE certifications.



Technical Skills :



Proficiency in Linux and Windows servers, wireless and fiber solutions, advanced networking, and 3CX knowledge.



Soft Skills :



Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to handle stressful conditions.



Other :



Valid driver's license and own transport.



Willingness to work overtime or be on standby as required.
