Welkom CampusMain purpose of the jobTo provide facilities maintenance and general maintenance services to the University.Main tasks * Ensure implementation and monitoring of maintenance processes and systems in line with University requirements and relevant legislation
- Oversee the provision of maintenance services
- Manage the service desk function
- Manage the provision of contract management services
- Manage projects for the unit
- Develop, manage and implement a budget for the unit
- Manage the performance and development of staff
- National Diploma Electrical/Mechanical/ Building Science.
- 5 years related experience in maintenance management, 3 of which must be in a facilities management environment (Electrical/Mechanical/Building Science).
- B-Tech or degree in the fields Electrical/Mechanical/ Building Science.
- Qualification in Facilities Management.
- Electrical and/or Mechanical Trade Test.
