Main purpose of the job
To oversee and enhance the quality standards of CRPM's AM processes. This role is instrumental in ensuring that products produced meet or exceed customer specifications and regulatory requirements. The AM Quality Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality controls for new and existing products, perform thorough root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement within the AM process.

Product Quality Assurance and Process Validation
Risk Management and Non-Conformance Management
Supplier Quality Management
Training and Development
Continual Improvement
Regulatory Compliance
Customer Feedback Management
Nature of appointment
: Three (3) year fixed-term support
Minimum salary scale
(Total Cost to Company): R 605 219 (2025 Salary scales to be confirmed)

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Quality Engineering on NQF level 7.
3 years of experience in quality engineering within manufacturing, with at least 1 year specifically in additive manufacturing.
Ability to initiate and successfully complete internal and external ISO audits based on set objectives - a portfolio of evidence submitted with the application.
Experience in quality management systems, statistical process control, root cause analysis and continual improvements - a portfolio of evidence should be submitted with the application
Honours degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Quality Engineering on NQF level 8.
4+ years of experience in Additive Manufacturing or Medical device quality management.
Ability to initiate and successfully complete internal and external ISO 13485 audits based on set objectives - portfolio of evidence should be submitted with application.
Experience in quality management systems, statistical process control, root cause analysis and continual improvements - portfolio of evidence should be submitted with application.
