Our TAMs look after named, existing Ab Initio customers, and support our sales staff in new accounts. Their role is simple; to make those customers successful with Ab Initio software. This typically entails building and maintaining an exceptionally strong working relationship with the customer, at many levels of their organisation, liaising with their decision makers and architects to disseminate and communicate the value of Ab Initio and to explain how the software fits their requirements, and shaping and leading consulting engagements with those organisations to demonstrate the Ab Initio value-add. Beyond this TAMs stays intimately on projects, ensuring that they are wholly successful long-term. exceptional interpersonal skills, and strong presentational capabilities. They are customerand delivery focussed, and are equally comfortable talking to developers on technical topics as they are presenting to a senior audience.It is expected that our TAMs will develop a broad and deep knowledge of Ab Initio software and its applicability across the data processing spectrum. Past experience in the data arena, perhaps with databases, major development languages or environments, or with other major vendors in this space is an advantage.
