Job SummaryThe Academic Administrator position will include administrative support functions in the following areas such as:xc2xb7 Infrastructure maintenancexc2xb7 Health and Safetyxc2xb7 Human Resourcesxc2xb7 Academic Deliveryxc2xb7 Campus Administrationxc2xb7 Campus Quality Assurance * Providing administrative support to the Campus Operations Manager in the day-to-day business of the campus operations.

  • From an Academic point the Administrator will provide academic administration support in the various academic processes.
  • Operational Administrators must be excellent multi-taskers, as their duties include admin support in various divisions of the operational functions on a campus.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist the Campus Operational Manager with the registration process of students. This will include:a. the collection of all required documentation, i.e. ID docs, Qualification certificates etc.b. Capturing registration data on Campus Onlinec. Uploading the registration documentation onto Campus Online * Preparing and distributing attendance registers for staff
  • Capturing staff attendance on attendance record and updating employee leave records. Capturing student attendance on Campus Online
  • Completing all registration forms, exam bookings etc for ICB students in line with the approved policy and procedures.
  • Co-ordinate and update the complaints register and report all complaints to the Campus Operational Manager.
  • Provide administrative support in the assessment process by:
d. Monitoring the assessment due datese. Processing marksheets and submitting to Campus Operational Manager for approval and process implementation.f. Capturing and distributing exam permits as approved by the Campus Operational Managerg. Process and distribute Progress Reports, Transcripts and Academic Reports as approved. * Distributing national timetables to Campus based Academic staff and students.
  • Assist with the administrative tasks assigned for student support i.e invites, attendance registers communication to students.
  • Provide administrative support in the library (CHE accredited campuses)
h. Administrative support for all Community development projects.i. Minutes taking and meeting management functions i.e invites, attendance registers, agendas.j. Compile Management information and Quality assurance reports on various functions as identified by COM.k.
