Facilitate tutorial groups and manage all the academic and logistical tasks associated with this.
Collaborate with lecturers and the team of academic facilitators to identify complex concepts and give input for tutorial activities.
Support contract facilitators to carry out the activities each week.
Coordinate the logistics and submission of composite marks of tutorial groups for final mark purposes.
Attend training, as appropriate, and apply the skills learnt conscientiously.
Collaborate with other facilitators to support and ensure a constructive student experience.
Provide consultation hours for students from all groups.
Assist with marking of tutorial assignments and any other forms of assessment as required by the lecturer and within faculty guidelines.
Assist with test and exam marking and invigilation, as required by the lecturer and within faculty guidelines.
Run the tutorial program across the Bloemfontein and Qwaqwa campuses, although based at the Bloemfontein campus.Inherent requirements:
Honours degree on NQF Level 8 in History.
Minimum of two (2) years facilitation and/or teaching experience.
A good academic record.Recommendations:
