  • Support project management of the training and development program.
  • Provide logistical support in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of Academic Staff and
Leadership training workshops and events.
  • Provide support towards the design and development of material and resources for Academic Staff and Leadership Development interventions.
  • Provide support towards the design and development of online portals for staff development.
  • Provide administrative support in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of Academic Staff
and Leadership training workshops and events.
  • Perform a variety of general administrative tasks e.g. answering emails.
  • Financial administration.
  • Refer all enquiries related to academic staff and leadership development to relevant support structures within CTL and wider UFS.
  • Liaise between the Centre for Teaching and Learning, Human Resources and other relevant UFS
structures.
  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers related to academic staff and leadership development initiatives.
  • Pro-actively market and disseminate information regarding academic leadership development
initiatives within the University of the Free State.
  • Provide administrative support to support research in the team.
Inherent Job Requirements:
  • Grade 12 or National Vocational Certificate on NQF level 4.
Recommendations:
  • Relevant Bachelors degree on NQF level (7).
  • A minimum of one (1) years experience in a higher education environment, preferably in staff development.
  • A minimum of one (1) years experience in training and development and/or teaching and learning, including presentation and facilitation experience.
  • A minimum of one (1) years experience in the use of a Learning Management System (LMS).
