They're a great company to work for and provide autonomy and lots of flexibility.Roles & ResponsibilitiesThe Account Manager is responsible for cultivating enduring relationships with a portfolio of clients, engaging with key executives and stakeholders. They serve as the bridge between customers and internal teams, ensuring timely and successful delivery of solutions tailored to customer needs. They manage and develop client accounts to foster and sustain excellent client relationships.Client

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client on a day-to-day basis.
  • Draft clear and structured proposals, reports, and briefs.
  • Ensure deadlines are met consistently.
  • Develop workable budgets, work plans, and realistic timelines.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with clients, both professionally and socially.
  • Represent the client's interests within the agency.
  • Represent the agency in a professional manner at all times.
  • Proactively seek out opportunities for the client.
  • Keep superiors informed on all business-related issues.
  • Assist clients through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share, and in-person meetings.
  • Manage internal and client status updates.
Creative
  • Set the creative context by ensuring a deep understanding of the client's business.
  • Provide constructive feedback on creative work based on the client brief and understanding of the client.
  • Present the agencyxe2x80x99s ideas to the client effectively.
  • Ensure delivery of work that meets the brief and showcases superior creative quality.
Finance
  • Maximise account billings and income, seeking additional income opportunities.
  • Contribute to sound financial management of the business, enhancing profitability whenever possible.
  • Monitor all billing procedures carried out by the team and any potential write-offs.
  • Understand the client contract, including the number of revisions and processes.
  • Manage budgets and ensure job profitability.
Traffic/Production
  • Allocate appropriate time for all major productions.
  • Ensure the right resources are allocated to the business in this area.
  • Ensure the client understands the importance of sufficient time for creative development.
  • Oversee the production of various media, including application design, web design, digital advertising, promotional displays, exhibits, and other related media.
Strategy
  • Maintain a strong relationship with the strategist.
  • Develop insightful advertising strategies and excellent creative briefs in collaboration with the strategist.
Management
  • Foster respect and loyalty among team members, the department, and the agency as a whole.
  • Keep the Managing Director and Operations Director informed about the business.
  • Ensure issues are promptly brought to the attention of the Directors.
Culture
  • Be open to and actively share knowledge and intelligence.
  • Contribute to the elevation of the Account Management team.
  • Act as an ambassador for the agency, contributing to a positive agency reputation.
