Job Description
A well-known chemical raw material company requires the above to manage large manufacturing key accounts within the chemical manufacturing industry.Minimum requirements for the role:
- A tertiary qualification in chemistry or chemical engineering is essential for the role.
- The company is happy to look at training up a BSc chemistry or chemical engineering graduate with no work experience into this role.
- The successful candidate must be a strong team player with the ability to build and foster relationships.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills is essential.
- Computer literacy is essential with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Managing a portfolio of large customers and projects within the homecare, mining, industrial chemical and related markets identifying customer needs.
- Developing and implementing key account plans and strategies for customer needs.
- Proactively sourcing information from the industry to gain an understanding of the processes and introducing new concepts and ideas to customers.
- Establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with customers.
- Ensuring timeous and correct delivery of chemical raw materials to manufacturing customers.
- Coordinating customer and innovation projects and tracking smart process execution in cooperation with other departments.
- Managing and delivering on technical queries with regard to a range of chemical raw materials.
