JOB SUMMARY:xc2xb7 The Account Manager will be responsible for promoting and selling products within the Provincial and Private Sector. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, providing procedural support, product demonstrations, and training, and achieving sales targets.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:xc2xb7 Sales and Business Development:o Promote and sell a range of Urology and Pelvic Health products into the Provincial and Private Sector.o Drive Tenders and Buy-Outs within the Provincial Hospitals.o Laser Procedural Support.o Promote and sell a range of products to healthcare professionals.o Identify and develop needs and new business opportunities.o Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.o Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.xc2xb7 Customer Relationship Management:o Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.o Provide high-quality customer service and support.o Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.xc2xb7 Product Knowledge and Training:o Stay up to date with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive products.o Provide product demonstrations and training to healthcare professionals.o Assist clients in selecting appropriate products for their needs.xc2xb7 Administrative Duties:o Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and other documentation as required including CRM reports, quarterly feedback and regular academic meetings.o Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.o Manage inventory and ensure timely delivery of products to clients.xc2xb7 Compliance and Ethics:o Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.o Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.QUALIFICATION:xc2xb7 Education:o Medical qualification for example qualified Scrub Nurse (not enrol nurses etc), Radiographers.xc2xb7 Experience:o Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical sales preferable with theatre support in surgical supplies, with existing relationships within the hospitals.o Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.xc2xb7 Skills:o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.o Strong negotiation and sales skills.o Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.o Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and within a team.o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint/CRM tools etc.).xc2xb7 Other Requirements:o Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively.o Own vehicle.o Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (if necessary).o Afrikaans (First Language).o Competencies.o Customer-focused with a strong commitment to providing high-quality service.o Ability to understand and communicate complex medical information.o Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.o Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
