Duties
Sell advertising to generate profitable revenue and achieve sales targets.
Follow up on potential deals, ensuring consistent progress towards closure.
Liaise with clients, presenting research, informing them of opportunities, and offering solutions.
Identify and source new client prospects to expand the customer base.
Develop proposals, quotes, contracts, and budgets for clients; lead presentations to close deals.
Address and resolve queries promptly, both internally and externally.
Plan, organise, and execute client campaigns, ensuring successful delivery.
Set clear, realistic expectations for clients, and ensure these are met through consistent follow-through.
Gain a deep understanding of clients' businesses, needs, and requirements to provide tailored solutions.
Monitor competitors' products, services, and strategies to stay ahead in the market.
Stay updated on technological advancements in the market that can enhance activations and client campaigns.
Keep management informed of critical decisions, developments, or incidents.
Compile weekly call reports, update client lists, and manage administrative tasks effectively.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in CRM systems.
Uphold professionalism in both conduct and appearance, ensuring a positive brand representation in public.
Required
Grade 12
A tertiary sales/marketing qualification would be advantageous
Existing relationships with media agencies and pharmaceutical brand owners.
Proven sales track record.
Experience in the pharmaceutical and/or media industry will be advantageous.
Own cell phone.
Valid South African ID document.
Valid driver's licence and own transport Superior interpersonal skills to the effect that productive and trusting relationships are built and maintained with clients and suppliers.
Superior negotiation skills.
Proficiency in project management and managing contracts is required.
Any experience in developing, creating and managing events or activations.
Ability to work within a team environment (team player) as well as independently.
