Key Responsibilities:Sales and Business Development:
Promote and sell a range of products to healthcare professionals.
Identify and develop needs and new business opportunities.
Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Provide high-quality customer service and support.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.
Product Knowledge and Training:
Stay up to date with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive products.
Provide product demonstrations and training to healthcare professionals.
Assist clients in selecting appropriate products for their needs.
Administrative Duties:
Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and other documentation as required including CRM reports, quarterly feedback and regular academic meetings.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
Manage inventory and ensure timely delivery of products to clients.
Compliance and Ethics:
Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:Education:
Nursing, Medical Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant certifications or additional qualifications in sales or healthcare are advantageous.
Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in medical sales preferably with theatre support in surgical supplies, with existing relationships within the hospitals and relationships with Surgeons especially Urologists would be very advantageous.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
Other Requirements:
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (if necessary).
Fluency in Afrikaans and English.
