Exciting Opportunity for a Qualified Accountant!Are you a skilled Accountant seeking a remote position? Our client, a prominent private equity company, excels in identifying unique business and investment opportunities both locally and globally. With successful ventures in diverse industries such as property, cherry farming, and retail, they are expanding their operations.Currently working with an external accounting service provider, they are looking to bring key functions in-house. As part of their finance team, you will report directly to the CFO and collaborate with employees to support senior management in strategic initiatives.Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to preparing and managing audit documentation, processing journals and account allocations, tracking expenses, generating financial reports, managing financial records, and processing invoices. Furthermore, you will be tasked with banking, FICA management, and tax-related tasks. In time, you will have the opportunity to take over management accounts too.To qualify for this role, you must reside in the Southern Suburbs, hold an accounting or finance-related qualification, and have at least 3 years of experience as an Accountant. Proficiency in Xero is essential, and the ability to read and write in Afrikaans will be advantageous.
