Our client is a multinational corporation involved in the retail sector. They are expanding their South African operations and require an accountant to manage financial transactions and ensure regulatory compliance.Position Overview :
The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing tax filings, and assisting with audits. The role offers opportunities for growth within the finance department.Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain financial statements, ledgers, and account reconciliations.
- Assist with annual audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Prepare and submit VAT, income tax, and other statutory filings.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in accounting.
- Experience with accounting software like SAP or QuickBooks.
