The successful candidate should have a Bcom Honours in Accounting degree with a minimum of 3 years in management or financial accounting.QUALIFICATION:

• B.Com Honours in Accounting.
• CIMA operationa level completed (An added advantage).

EXPERIENCE:

• 3 years' experience in management or financial accounting
• MS Excel (Advanced Level)

SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION:Financial Analysis:

• Adheres to pre-defined reporting cycles & schedules.
• Adheres to reporting requirements from Holding company.
• Complies with standards set for the group, including requirements governing reporting best practices (both actual and budget).
• Executes financial planning data collection & organisational support.
• Assists with preparation & analysis of information for reporting purposes.
• Liaises with internal stakeholders.
• Assists with ad hoc analysis & reporting
• Executes Cost and Profit Centre Analyses
• Monitoring dates and deadlines
• Monitors data integrity of reports
• Verifies and checks reports for accuracy before sending out
• Provides expert reporting guidance
• Provides support when requested
• Proposes & gains approval for improvements to the process

Financial Reporting:

• Adheres to pre-defined reporting cycles and schedules
• Adheres to reporting requirements from holding company
• Complies with standards set for financial reporting for the Group
• Assists with the execution of the Group Management Reporting function
• Assists with preparation & analysis of information for reporting purposes
• Assists with the preparation & analysis of information for statutory reporting purposes
• Monitoring dates and deadlines
• Monitors data integrity of reports
• Drafts templates for reporting
• Identifies bottlenecks in processes and formulates plans to improve efficiency
• Resolves first line queries & escalates queries to leadership when required.
• Checks and analyses report for correctness of information and data accuracy before distribution
• Provides expert reporting guidance
• Assist in reporting to Group
• Assists in producing monthly and quarterly Holding company report pack
• Assist in producing specialised, complex, & ad hoc reporting required by Holding company.
• Provides management feedback on reports and disseminates reports/information
• Liaises with internal stakeholders
• Adheres to standard policies and procedure
• Assists with ad hoc reporting
• Compiles monthly power point presentations

Lease Accounting- and Reporting Function:

• Adheres to pre-defined reporting cycles and schedules
• Adheres to reporting requirements from Holding company.
• Complies with standards set for financial accounting for the group
• Executes the Lease Accounting- and Reporting function
• Liaises with internal stakeholders with regards to query resolution
• Produces reconciliations and report any problems identified immediately

Tracking Komatsu Transformation Trust Spending:

• Adheres to reporting requirements from Holding comapny.
• Complies with standards set for financial accounting for the group
• Executes the Lease Accounting- and Reporting function
• Liaises with internal stakeholders with regards to query resolution
• Produces reconciliations and report any problems identified immediately
