Accountant (financial Statement Compiler)
Job Description
Fast-growing medium-sized accounting and tax firm in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is looking to employ an Accountant to compile Annual Financial Statements.The firm is looking for a candidate with experience in a firm environment that is comfortable drafting financial statements in Draftworx or Caseware. An accounting degree, certificate or diploma, along with SAIPA/SAICA articles is preferred, however, if the candidate has an adequate amount of experience and skill level in compilations, they will also be considered based on this experience.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform high-level accounting duties.
- Preparing accounting work relating to compilations of annual financial statements.
- Preparation and Review of financial statements in Draftworx.
- Compilations of Annual Financial Statements on Draftworx.
- Ad hoc accounting and tax work
- Client interaction and relations.
- Degree, Certificate, or Diploma in Accounting or similar.
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles advantageous.
- AGA(SA), PA(SA) or other professional qualifications a plus.
- Experience with Draftworx.
- Minimum 2 years experience drafting AFS.
- R240,000 to R300,000 pa ctc, negotiable on experience.
