Don't join just any accounting firmxe2x80x94 but one of the top firms in Pretoria East, where youxe2x80x99ll work with high-caliber clients across various industries.Purpose of the PositionTo perform accounting and tax related duties, manage an accounting portfolio and provide insight, and review of the portfolio's month to month.Responsibilities
- Full accounting function up until trial balance (Individual companies and groups)
- Produce client management reports and annual budgets
- Accounting budget planning and management
- Calculation and submission of tax returns (PAYE, VAT, Provisional tax, Income tax)
- Maintain excellent client relationships
- Maintaining of company secretarial records
- Ensuring that deadlines are met
- Monthly and bi-weekly payroll processing (Permanent staff and wages)
- Workmans Compensation submissions
- SARS and Labour Department statutory queries
- Qualified SAIPA / AGA (SA)
- 1 - 2 years post-article experience (Beneficial)
- A thorough knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, IFRS, and taxation
- Strong administrative skills
- Taking initiative/being pro-active
- Team player
- Adherence to principles and values
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to demonstrate and exercise sound judgment skills
- Planning and organizational skills
- Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) administration (Beneficial)
- Basic computer software knowledge (Xero, Pastel, Excel, Outlook)
- Own reliable transportation with valid driving license
