URGENT POSITION

Accountant Helderberg (Strand/Somerset West/Stellenbosch)

Must preferably be available immediately!

Salary: R30 000 R35 000 (Market Related) per month, depending on experience

MUST have SAIPA articles with some out-of-articles experience, otherwise Application will not be accepted

Age: 30 40 years

Job Purpose:

Will manage a portfolio that is mainly within the hospitality industry

Requirements:

Grade 12

Bcom / SAIPA (Non-Negotiable)

Working knowledge of MDA (advantageous)

MS Office - Excel

Own transport

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Review of daily cashflow calculations

Allocations of non-routine receipts and payments from the cashbook, as well as debit order allocations.

Accounting functions up to trial balance, including supporting schedules.

Review of capturing done by debtors and creditors administrators

Preparing monthly and provisional tax computations and assisting with supplementary declarations to SARS (income tax and deferred tax calculations)

VAT calculations, reconciliations, submitting and paying VAT201s and resolving VAT queries

Monthly processing of credit cards and reporting on credit card spending.

Monthly reconciliation of property trust accounts

Monthly cashbook reconciliations.

Calculating and processing on internal sales invoices for inter-company recharges, including management fees and agency fees.

Reconciliation of inter-company loans.

Compiling and keeping fixed assets registers up to date (disposals and acquisitions), calculating depreciation

Review and analysis of salary related accounts

Assisting with external audits
