  • Financial oversight: meticulously manage and oversee financial accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and financial agility within the digital property management sector
  • Conduct regular financial audits to maintain transparency and adherence to financial regulations
  • Risk management: lead comprehensive risk reporting, identifying and mitigating financial risks to fortify the company's financial health.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies, ensuring proactive measures against potential financial challenges
  • Project leadership: spearhead strategic projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing risks, and maximising revenue
  • Initiate and manage revenue-enhancing or interest-saving projects, optimising deposit interest rates and generating management fees from tenant deposits
  • Letters of Demand management: efficiently handle the process of issuing letters of demand and managing related exposures in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with legal teams to ensure the legal integrity of financial processes related to letters of demand
  • Innovative financial strategies: actively contribute to the development and implementation of innovative financial strategies, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of industry advancements
  • Explore and implement innovative financial technologies and tools to enhance financial operations
  • Relationship building: cultivate robust relationships with business bankers to support financial operations and growth
  • Engage collaboratively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to foster relationships beneficial to the companys financial success
  • HR functions: oversee HR functions related to finance, ensuring salary payments and other financial benefits align with company ethos, contributing to employee satisfaction
  • Financial reporting and analysis: generate and analyse comprehensive financial reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual basis, providing insights into financial performance and areas for improvement
  • Utilise financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making and contribute to long-term financial planning
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, aligning financial goals with overall company objectives
  • Monitor budget adherence and provide proactive recommendations for financial adjustments when necessary
  • Stakeholder communication: effectively communicate financial information to key stakeholders, translating complex financial concepts into understandable insights
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align financial strategies with the companys overall business objectives
What you'll need
  • Qualified Accountant with a valid membership from a recognised accounting body
  • Proven track record in financial management, risk reporting, and project oversight within a business setting
  • Analytical skills: strong analytical skills, enabling the assessment of financial risks and identification of continuous improvement opportunities
  • Communication and interpersonal skills: excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective relationship management with bankers, auditors, staff, and external partners
  • Project management: demonstrated ability to manage revenue-generating or cost-saving projects with a keen eye for detail and innovation
  • Industry familiarity: familiarity with the digital property management sector and its financial management requirements would be advantageous
  • Payment portals expertise: experience in spearheading discussions on the best payment portals to use, showcasing a proactive approach to financial technologies
