A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will manage financial reporting, costing, and stock holding, ensuring financial accuracy while supporting operational efficiency and growth.Duties:
- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage costing functions, including the preparation of cost analysis and cost reports.
- Track and maintain accurate records of stock holding and inventory management.
- Perform monthly reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to senior management.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
- Support audit processes and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline financial operations and improve overall efficiency.
- A BCom degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- A minimum of 5 years accounting experience, with solid knowledge of costing and stock holding.
