Job Description
Hire Resolve's client, a leading mining company in the Northern Cape, is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join their team. As an Accountant in the mining sector, you will be responsible for various financial activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
- Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Prepare and present financial reports to management
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial decision-making
- Grade 12
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certificate in Pastel/SAGE, VIP Payroll/SAGE
- 5 years' experience in a Finance role, Within the mining industry.
- Experience with IFRS and SARS Regulation.
- Valid Drivers' License.
- Salary: Negotiable
