Job Summary Description:
Hire Resolve's client, a leading mining company in the Northern Cape, is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join their team. As an Accountant in the mining sector, you will be responsible for various financial activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare and present financial reports to management
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial decision-making
Requirements:
  • Grade 12
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Certificate in Pastel/SAGE, VIP Payroll/SAGE
  • 5 years' experience in a Finance role, Within the mining industry.
  • Experience with IFRS and SARS Regulation.
  • Valid Drivers' License.
