Job Description
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Degree in Financial Accounting essential.
- Completed Articles, a must.
- Min. 2 years post qualification experience in finance.
- Experience in a Supervisory role essential.
- Immediately available, a definite advantage.
- SAP experience, an added advantage.
Report to the Divisional Accountant:
- All functions related to:
- Trade debtors & creditors;
- Sundry debtors & creditors;
- Intercompany debtors & creditors.
- Manage AR and AP team in its entirety.
- Prepare and distribute monthly profit & loss statements and Management pack.
- Complete VAT recon; prepare tax packs and deal with all SARS queries.
- Complete month-end trial balance.
- Ensure budget is set according to company guidelines.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for Management.
- Submit daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly review and feedback reports to the Finance Manager.
- Reconcile and close general ledger.
- Prepare for ICM audits.
- Achieve agreed productivity targets/standards.
- Adhere to legislative requirements.
- Advance Microsoft Office.
- Staff management.
- Assertiveness.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Independent.
- Able to work under pressure.
