The incumbent will be responsible to maintain the integrity of the financial accounting function in accordance with sound accounting practices, company policy and legislative requirements.QUALIFICATIONS:Relevant Diploma/Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification (BCom Accounting and/or Management Accounting)EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• At least 3 - 5 years' relevant financial experience
• Advanced knowledge and experience with spreadsheets
• Excellent administration skills
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Good time-management skills
• Good conflict management skills

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Driver's License
• Be willing to travel
• Must be fully bilingual (English/Afrikaans) and understand and communicate in Afrikaans to a large extent

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE:

• Execution of financial monthly reporting
• Performing of month-end and vat reconciliations and submissions
• Analysis of reports to advise on cash-flow, budgets and forecasts
• Provision of financial, taxation and business development
• Responsible for general administrative processes
• Accounting transaction processing
• Audit and audit planning
• Ensure legal compliance
• Inventory
• Statistical reports
• Debtors and creditors management
• Bank Reconciliations
