Eastern Cape, Port ElizabethMonthly Cost To Company (Market related)Our client, in the Travel industry, is looking to employ an Accountant based in Port Elizabeth.Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary finance qualification.
- 3 5 Years working experience and background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience working with Quickbooks software.
- Structured approach to work environment.
- Ability to manage time according to business expectations and projects.
- Passion and experience in the travel/tourism industry will be advantageous.
- Analytical mind and spreadsheet expert.
- Maintain accurate accounting records for all entities (3).
- Introduce and maintain business files, asset registers and required memberships.
- Assist in financial aspects of project related work.
- Assist in introducing and maintaining controls and systems around the financial functions within the organizations.
- Brainstorm ideas based on given briefs and budgets.
- Assisting in assembling budgets, cashflows and forecasts.
- Provide suggestions on business efficiencies and potential resource saving.
- Assist in preparation of financial reporting information as required by each entity.
- Assist in payroll function and the related statutory submissions and payments.
- Assist in cash planning for each business.
- Your role will include but not limited to the tasks, duties and responsibilities outlined.
