Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Trail Balances.
  • Oversee full accounting function, including all general ledger accounts and inventory.
  • Perform journal entries and general ledger transactions and reconciliations.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly management accounting figures for financial analysis.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory costs, reconcile inventory counts, and attend ad hoc inventory counts.
  • Maintain fixed asset register.
  • Execute bank payments.
  • Ensure compliance with SARS regulatory requirements, including reviewing vehicle logbooks.
  • Prepare annual budget, audit documents, and forecasts.
  • Assist in preparation of management accounts and analyze results against budgets and forecasts.
  • Support Director with additional projects and responsibilities.
Skills Required:
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with Sage Accounting software.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Reliable transportation.
