Job Description


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate trial balances and process journal entries and general ledger transactions, including reconciliations.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and manage the fixed asset register.
  • Prepare and load payments for release.
  • Assist with annual budget preparation and audit document preparation.
  • Support the preparation of management accounts, including detailed analysis of actual results vs. budget/forecast.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the Director with financial projects and other responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
  • BCom Accounting degree (essential).
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with Sage Accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Highly organized, efficient, and accurate with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Reliable transport and ability to commute.
