Accountant (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare year-end statutory accounts for UK-based limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.

Prepare corporation tax computations and returns.

Handle daily bookkeeping and prepare/submit monthly and quarterly VAT returns under UK VAT schemes.

Prepare high-quality management accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Liaise with UK clients to resolve queries and provide exceptional service.

Assist in training and mentoring junior team members.

Support Partners with ad-hoc accounting and compliance tasks as required.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Recently qualified CA.

Strong knowledge of IFRS.

Experience with accounting software such as CCH, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and Alphatax (preferred but not essential).

Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, both remotely and in person.

Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.

Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

A proactive team player with the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
