Job Description
The successful candidate will, among other things, be responsible for the following key performance areas:Keeps track of financial records and reports, which includes:
- Monthly management statements and related reporting.
- Budget and cash flow projections.
- Maintain benefit registers.
- Arithmetic handling of inventory.
- Cost deviation analyses.
- Processing of administrative arithmetic functions.
- Handling, preparation and submission of reports to relevant statutory bodies.
- Provide support for financial audits.
- Preparation of financial statement.
- General financial administration.
- A well-organised individual who is able to prioritise tasks, and executes their tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
- BCom Accounting degree in Financial Accounting or Management Accounting or equivalent qualification with completed clerkship.
- At least 5 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing or agricultural environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Technical analytical skills.
- Extensive experience in Pastel/Sage/SAP/Oracle and Excel.
- The ability to function both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge and experience of xe2x80x9cBusiness Intelligence Toolsxe2x80x9d (BI) and SQL as well.
- Experience with National Credit Legislation (NCR).
