Job Description
My client, with head offices in Kuils River and business units nationwide, is seeking to employ a SAIPA Accountant. As a SAIPA accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity, preparing accurate financial statements, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities include:
- Maintain Fixed Asset register, new builds, revamps and scrapping to process and reconcile
- Debtors
- Creditors xe2x80x93 allocation / coding (capturing done by creditors team)
- Cashbook and petty cash
- Journals xe2x80x93 Monthly; Payroll; Depreciation
- Bookkeeping up to Trial balance
- Management Accounts xe2x80x93 preparation, corroboration and follow up
- VAT
- Salary and wages
- Credit cards
- Assist with coordination and planning of the annual budget process
- Maintenance of beneficiaries list on banking system
- Creating payments
- Daily bank deposits reconciliation and follow-up, cash tracking
- Maintain monthly audit files
- Food cost corroboration and follow up
- Relevant degree, CIMA or SAIPA qualification or University degree with article experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent in English
- Valid driverxe2x80x99s licence
- 2-3 years experience
- Experience in Sage Evolution
- Experience with GAAP Retail Office will be advantageous
- Experience in the FMCG industry will be advantageous
