Job Description
Minimum requirements for the role:
- Must have a relevant tertiary qualification with SAIPA accreditation (For the Accountant)
- Must be proficient in preparing and signing off farming financial statements
- Comprehensive knowledge of SARS submissions and processes is essential
- Practical experience with Pastel Accounting is required
- Experience with U-filing, knowledge of CIPC submissions and processes, and familiarity with Sage One accounting software are advantageous
- Advanced Excel skills are a must
- Must be fluent in Afrikaans and English
- General proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Outlook, is important
- Preparing and finalizing financial statements for farming businesses.
- Submitting all required SARS filings.
- Utilizing Pastel, Advanced Excel, and Microsoft Office to execute accounting functions.
- Processing bank and transaction entries up to the trial balance stage.
- Managing VAT processing and SARS submissions.
- Handling U-filing and CIPC submissions.
- Addressing SARS inquiries and submissions.
- Providing administrative support and maintaining client liaison.
- Performing day-to-day tasks using Microsoft Office and Pastel Accounting.
