ACCOUNTS CLERK - MPUMALANGA (NORTH)Person ideally should reside in the Mpumalanga Northern area onlyIdeally the person is required to have worked for 2 - 4 years experience in AccountingOn site Accommodation is supplied for this positionDuties:-xc2xb7 Daily balancing and processing of incomexc2xb7 Daily Cash ups and balancing of departments
- Handling of Petty Cash and supplementary payments
- Reconciliation processing
- Month End stock counts
- Account balancing
- Processing of journals
- Issuing of fuel payments
- Updating registers
- Processing all invoices and reconciliations
- Handling of safes, floats and change
- Ordering stationary
- Handling ATM Duties
- Month end procedures and cash ups
- Assist with stock takes
- Must be a South African citizen
- Minimum qualification: Grade 12 with Accounting and Mathematics as subjects
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years previous accounting / Financial experience
- Be able to work well under pressure and be self disciplined
- Excellent organisational and strong calculation skills
- Strict adherence and implementation of all relevant policies and procedures
- Prepared to work on weekends
- Must be able to concentrate for long hours and in a busy environment
- Must have excellent Communication and friendly liaison skills - able to work as part of a team
- Good working knowledge of both MS Office, Excel and ACCPAC
