QUALIFICATION: Diploma/ Degree in Financial Accounting

Accountant Job Responsibilities:
Assists in preparing monthly and annual financial reports, manage accounts payable and receivable processes
Reconciles general ledger accounts and reviews trial balance.
Documents financial transactions by entering account information into the accounting system.
Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
Assist in conducting internal audits and support external audit processes
Secures financial information and ensures confidentiality.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
Assists in preparing and processing payroll to ensure accurate payment of client's employee salaries by verifying documentation, where relevant.
Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
Assists in preparing and accurately submitting taxes (income tax, VAT), annual returns, and AFS per GAAP / IFRS.
Assists in secretarial and administrative duties such as with CIPC, UIF, and COIDA.
Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
