Mission:Lead and develop the Accounting to Reporting team ensuring quality service delivery to all stakeholders in sub-Sahara African Region supported by the Regional Centre of Excellence while continuously improving the processes and tools to ensure further efficienciesMain Duties and Manage the delivery of quality Accounting to Reporting (A2R) services to the sub-Saharan organisations in line with agreed expectations and the Epiroc Way as well as business requirementsMain Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive the implementation of improvements to processes and tools in A2R
• Assist with improving and implementing process alignment and standardisation in the Region
• Lead, motivate and develop the A2R team for maximum performance
• Coordinate and manage day to day activities
• Continuously improve processes and ways of working, while using digitization and Robotic Process Automation as an enabler to achieve further efficiencies
• Drive projects for the A2R Regional Centre of Excellence Team
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators and implement necessary actions to correct negative trends
• Ensure an excellent communication flow with stakeholders in the Region and relevant parts of the Global organisation
• Ensure agreed procedures are maintained and adhered to within the team

Skills, Competence and Experience:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accountancy - Bachelors in Commerce (Accountancy) or equivalent.
• Completed articles
• Qualified Professional Accountant (SA) / Associate General Accountant (SA)
• CA (SA) will be an advantage
• Solid Accounting experience, including previous experience as a Financial Manager / Controller will be an advantage
• 5-8 years' experience in managing an A2R team in a multinational Shared Service organization will be an advantage
• Fluency in English is a key requirement. Mastery of one or more key Regional language such as French or Portuguese will be an advantage
• Proven leadership and change management skills
• Proven ability to build relationships and trust with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in working with BPCS, Infor M3, Pastel, Syspro, Lotus Notes, SharePoint and Microsoft Office will be an advantage
