The African Union Development Agency invites applicants who are citizens of African Union Member States for the post of
Accounts Assistant - Cashier.
Under the supervision of the Senior Finance Officer: Treasury, the Accounts Assistant - Cashier will be Managing the cash office operations, handling travel advances, overseeing petty cash management, and supporting treasury functions to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.

Education and Experience

Education:
Candidates must have a National Diploma in Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field with five (5) years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting or treasury within public sector institutions or similar organizations nationally, regionally, and/or internationally.
Experience:
+ Relevant experience in handling and managing a cash office.
+ Practical experience in Foreign Currency management.
+ Experience in travel and mission plan management.
+ Experience in travel advances.
+ Experience in managing cash.
+ Advanced knowledge in SAP or similar ERP and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel is required.

Remuneration:
