Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced, high-volume environment?A dynamic and well-established organisation is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Officer to join its finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a deadline-driven setting and is passionate about financial accuracy and compliance.Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the integrity of financial results by maintaining compliance with policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
- Accurately record, report, and review all operating expenditures and accruals.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to support an efficient, risk-focused audit cycle.
- Verify supplier invoices against receipts and settlements for assigned cost centres.
- Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve queries in a timely manner.
- Ensure supplier invoices and payments comply with relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate financial records in SAP and support month-end closing processes.
- Track operational costs and assist with financial forecasting and planning.
- Education: National Diploma in Accounting or Finance (Essential).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in an accounts payable role, handling high volumes in a pressurised environment.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- SAP experience.
