Our client in Centurion is on the lookout for a dynamic Actuarial Analyst to play a pivotal role in the actuarial management of a short-term insurer. This role goes beyond the numbers, offering a unique blend of remuneration modelling, marketing insights, operational efficiency, and procurement analysis. Its a diverse, technical position with expansive growth opportunities.Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, assess, and verify data from multiple sources for comprehensive analysis.
- Conduct advanced statistical investigations using specialised software and propose actionable insights.
- Design and implement analytical solutions tailored to business needs.
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives by applying actuarial skills across various business domains.
- Foster strong relationships with management teams across multiple regions.
- Ensure compliance with escalation procedures and mandates within internal systems.
- Develop analytical reports that drive key business decisions.
- Build and manage a network of strategic partners for business expansion and innovation.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Short-Term or General Insurance (highly beneficial).
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Business Sciences, or Business Mathematics (other relevant qualifications with statistical/modelling experience will also be considered).
- At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Excel and SQL.
