Your Business Unit:

The Experience Analysis and Terms of Trade business unit is a core functioning unit of the Life Business. The unit analyses client data to develop a terms of trade by which the Life Business conducts business. The business unit services the Life Product and Pricing and Valuations teams.

Your Team:

The Experience Analysis team is an experienced and highly qualified team of professionals with multiple skills (Actuarial, Data Analytics, Rate Setting, Research and Development) that analyses client's data (using Axis Experience Analysis software) to understand client specific and market experience over time for various lines of business. The candidate will join this top rated and highly skilled team in a junior role.

Your Job:

Are you an actuarial analyst or trainee who enjoys being part of a team of highly skilled and motivated colleagues? Do you enjoy data analytics, monitoring client experience and working with detailed data? If you answered yes to the above then this might be the opportunity for you.

  • Consolidate, validate and transform client data into the required format
  • Use Axis software to perform an experience analysis
  • Validate experience analysis results for reasonability and accuracy
  • Assumption setting and basis review
  • Partnering with business to provide valuable insight to influence strategy and long term decision making
  • Spot checking and model validation
Your profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial or Business Science
  • At least 5 actuarial exams
  • At least one year of work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Entry-level knowledge of experience analyses
  • Understanding of life actuarial modelling
  • Some life insurance product knowledge
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
