Job Purpose



To provide actuarial solutions to internal and external clients within the Non-Life Client Solutions team; in line with Nedbanks Client Value Proposition.

Job Responsibilities


Conducting experience investigations into the performance of non-life products and identifying areas of improvement Assisting with the implementation of system enhancements and product changes Assisting with the development and implementation of new pricing models Monitoring the results of pricing models and updating where necessary Documentation of existing and new processes Communication of results to actuarial managers for further action Be an active and engaged member of the actuarial team Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc.) Express ideas or facts clearly in written documentation so that the content is understood by the recipient Ensure all personal development plan activities are completed within specified timeframe Share knowledge and industry trends with team and stakeholders during formal and informal interaction Conduct and compile Industry research and product development to provide the most appropriate range of products to clients Identify and interpret relevant information using logic to seek cause and effect relationships Develop software proficiency to deliver required outputs

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees Preferred Qualification

Bachelor of Commerce in Actuarial Science, Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science

Minimum Experience Level

Minimum of 4 exams (ASSA preferred)
