In this pivotal role, you will oversee the life valuations process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. You will manage a talented team of actuaries, providing strategic insights and driving initiatives that influence key financial decisions. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and implementing valuation models, analyzing data, and delivering actionable recommendations to senior management.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of actuarial professionals.
- Oversee the life valuations process, including model development and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement in valuation methodologies and practices.
- Fellow of a recognized actuarial society (e.g., SOA, IFoA) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in life insurance valuations and actuarial modeling.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
