Develop, implement, and optimize pricing strategies for short-term insurance products.
Utilize programming and data mining techniques to analyze large datasets for commercial value.
Leverage various tools and technologies including SQL, SAS, Python, and platforms like Willis Towers Watson, Earnix, and AKUR8.
Identify data and rating enhancements to inform and improve pricing models.
Ensure proper governance on pricing developed and deployed within the business.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage data and analytics in pricing decisions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of actuarial practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular evaluations of pricing models and strategies to ensure effectiveness.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Sciences or a related field.
Strong understanding of actuarial principles and short-term insurance pricing models.
Proficiency in data analysis and the use of statistical software.

Desired Experience:

Minimum 5 years and maximum 20 years of relevant experience in actuarial pricing.
Proven experience in pricing models and application of data-driven strategies.
Hands-on experience with programming, and proficiency in working with large datasets.

Salary & Benefits:

Annual Salary: R 600,000 - R 900,000.
