Centurion - Gauteng - South AfricaWe are excited to present a unique opportunity for an Actuarial Pricing Specialist at one of South Africa's most respected and recognized brands in the insurance and financial services industry. This position, based in Centurion with a hybrid working model, offers a dynamic blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.As an integral part of the pricing team, you'll contribute to developing innovative and competitive pricing solutions with a strong focus on short-term insurance. This role is suited for an analytically driven, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the opportunity to shape the companys product pricing strategies in a competitive market.Required Experience & Education:
- Bachelors degree in Actuarial Sciences
- Qualified actuary or nearly qualified actuary
- 5 years or more of Actuarial modelling and pricing experience within the Short-Term Insurance industry. Preference will be given to candidates that demonstrate advanced pricing and product development experience.
- Experience with software packages like SQL, SAS, R, Python, Willis Towers Watson, Earnix and AKUR8
- Advanced Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, user.
- Experience with programming and mining large datasets for commercial value.
