We are seeking an Admin assistant who will be responsible for organizing paper work and orders. Please note that this is a junior role.
Scheduling and Organizing:
Will manage the schedule of events, ensuring that everything is on time and that all the required resources (such as space, equipment, and personnel) are available.
Liaison and Communication
: Act as a liaison between clients, vendors, and event participants. They communicate any needs, adjustments, or concerns to ensure the event goes as planned.
Administrative Tasks:
This role also involves administrative duties such as handling paperwork, booking venues, and managing budgets related to the event or function.
Problem-Solving:
If issues arise before or during the event, the function coordinator works quickly to resolve them, ensuring that the event proceeds smoothly
Will work hand in hand with the head chef to take responsibility for the unit and be accountable for all stock audits tie backs and costings
Qualifications:
Matric / Senior Certificate
Relevant qualification or experience
Minimum of
High level of personal cleanliness;
Sober habits;
Able to manage time and work under pressure;
Able to remain calm and in control in difficult situations;
Able to adapt to changing role responsibilities when required;
Understand ordering and stock take
