The purpose of this position is to manage a team of Sales administrative staff at a branch level, who are required to provide full administrative support to sales teams nationally, in order to ensure that necessary sales targets are met and business objectives achieved.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
General Departmental Management
Lead, manage, and assess the team of five administrative staff to ensure service standards are upheld.
Implement performance management strategies to enhance team efficiency and productivity.
Provide mentorship and development opportunities for the team to build operational excellence.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and operational best practices.
Field Marketing Commission Administration
Oversee and review full commission reports and calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Maintain transparency in commission structures and ensure alignment with company policies.
Reporting and Quality Quality, Assurance
Manage quality assurance processes to maintain high service and operational standards.
Analyse and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize production levels.
Fleet Management
Oversee the maintenance and availability of the sales fleet to ensure operational readiness.
Implement fleet management policies to optimize vehicle usage and cost efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance regulations for all company vehicles.
Stock Control
Manage the stock control process to ensure adequate inventory levels for field operations.
Ensure stock is well-maintained, properly accounted for, and aligned with business needs.
Implement stock auditing and reconciliation procedures to prevent losses and inefficiencies.
Field Marketing Support & Operational Coordination
Support sales teams by ensuring all administrative functions are streamlined to maximize productivity.
Collaborate with sales leadership to align operational strategies with business growth objectives.
Ensure sales teams have the necessary resources, tools, and support to meet targets.
Address and resolve operational bottlenecks that impact sales efficiency.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND GENERAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Education
Must have Matric (Grade 12); and Equivalent
Must have a degree in Accounting/Finance/Business administration and operations
Experience
At least 5 year's relevant working experience in a leadership role and management of
staff with a proven performance track record.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in administration, operations, or sales support.
Strong background in commission administration, fleet management, and stock control.
Experience in working cross-functionally with sales, finance, and senior leadership.
Other
Must be computer literate; specifically, proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are crucial
Must have own vehicle as travel will be necessary
