Duties/Pligte
Administrative responsibilities, including the following:Departmental reception and handling orders and deliveries. Departmental recordkeeping and general administration. Assisting with undergraduate and postgraduate student administration. Organising meetings and departmental functions. Financial administration related to internal requisitions and ordering office supplies.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
A completed National Senior Certificate (Grade 12 / matric). A relevant higher education qualification in office administration, business administration, or a field related to the duties described above. At least three years administrative experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook). Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented approach. Effective planning, organising and prioritising abilities. Professional, with a good work ethic and willingness to learn. Adaptable and proactive, with a strong ability to take initiative. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
'n Voltooide Nasionale Senior Sertifikaat (Graad 12 / matriek). 'n Tersaaklike hoer onderwyskwalifikasie in kantooradministrasie, besigheidsadministrasie, of 'n vakgebied wat verband hou met die bogenoemde pligte. Minstens drie jaar se administratiewe ervaring in 'n soortgelyke rol. Vaardigheid in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook). Aandag aan detail en akkuraatheid in administratiewe take. Uitstekende mondelinge en skriftelike kommunikasievaardighede in Engels. Sterk interpersoonlike vaardighede met 'n klientgerigte benadering. Effektiewe beplannings-, organisatoriese- en prioritiseringsvermoens. Professioneel, met 'n goeie werksetiek en bereidwilligheid om te leer. Aanpasbaar en proaktief, met 'n sterk vermoe om inisiatief te neem. Die vermoe om beide onafhanklik en samewerkend binne 'n span te werk.



Recommendation/Aanbeveling
Experience in a higher education institution. Experience in the use of financial systems such as Oracle Finance. Experience in the use of Microsoft SharePoint. The ability to communicate proficiently in Afrikaans and/or isiXhosa.
