Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, analysis, and integration of aerospace and defense systems.
Define and manage system requirements, ensuring compliance with industry and military standards.
Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams to develop and optimize system architecture.
Perform system modeling, simulation, and validation to ensure performance and reliability.
Conduct risk assessments and failure mode analysis (FMEA/FMECA) to enhance system safety.
Support testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities for new and existing aerospace systems.
Document system specifications, design changes, and technical reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
5+ years experience in aerospace systems engineering within the defense sector.
Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, including MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering).
Experience with DO-178C, DO-254, MIL-STD-810, and other aerospace/defense standards.
Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, or similar system modeling tools.
Knowledge of avionics, propulsion, control systems, and mission-critical technologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
Ability to work in a high-security environment and obtain necessary clearances if required.
